YOUR TASKS:
- Testing of assembly units, subassemblies and complete lines for compliance with the specifications in drawings, order confirmations, standards, laws as well as the quality standards required at Schuler.
- Independent execution of the tests as EA test, function test as well as safety test
- Safety inspection of equipment in the function of CE coordinator
- Recording of test results in protocols or on EDP system
- Recording and classifying defects and documenting them in quality notifications and complaint lists
- Deciding on the necessary corrective measures and initiating error-preventing preventive measures
- Validation of safety functions in software and hardware
- On-site customer support on safety topics
- Moderating risk analyses

YOUR PROFILE:
- Completed technical training with further training as a technician or master craftsman
- at least 3 years of professional experience as commissioning engineer or quality inspector
- Knowledge in the field of machine safety
- Confident handling of SAP and MS-Office is an advantage
- Good written and spoken English skills are desirable
- Goal-oriented, assertive team player with a competent and determined demeanor and strong problem-solving skills
- Analytical and entrepreneurial mindset
- Willingness to travel for several days in Germany and other European countries
