Expert Audience Looking Forward to Blechexpo/Schweisstec 2023!
Together with the 9th Schweisstec international trade fair for joining technology, the 16th Blechexpo international trade fair for sheet metal working will serve as an inspiring event with fully booked halls and an impressive supplementary programme. The brilliant winners of the “best-Award 2023” will be honoured on the first day of the trade fair. The Blechexpo/Schweisstec trade fair duo presents complete process sequences for modern, future-oriented sheet metal working and is being eagerly awaited.
“We’re ready to go,” announces Georg Knauer, Blechexpo/Schweisstec project manager from Schall trade fair promoters. Nine fully booked exhibition halls and a wide-ranging, world-class supplementary programme will inspire the expert visitors. Highlights will include the results of the “best Award 2023” competition, which is stirring up excitement within the industry. The competition will be held for the sixth time in cooperation with trade journals Blechnet and MM Maschinenmarkt. The have organisers specified five submission categories analogous to the themes assigned to the exhibition halls so that all participants have been able to find the most suitable area for their innovations: sheet metal, pipe and profile processing will be located in halls 1, 3, 5 and 9. Halls 4 and 6 are reserved for stamping technologies. Cutting, joining and fastening technologies will be presented in hall 7. Hall 8 will focus on pressing and forming technologies. Finally, the topics of steel and metal services, as well as surface finishing technology, will be addressed in hall 10. An expert jury with renowned representatives from the industry sector will select the winners in the days to come, who will receive their “best-Award” on the afternoon of the first day of the trade fair.
Clearly Structured Hall Layout, Efficient Trade Fair Visit
The newly restructured and more clearly defined exhibition hall layout makes visiting the trade fair more efficient for expert visitors. The range of topics covered by Blechexpo/Schweisstec includes efficient process technologies for modern laser technology, fully automated robotic sheet metal processing machines, precision tools and systems for punching, bending, braking and forming, as well as innovative micro-waterjet cutting technologies. Expert visitors experience the entire process sequence for sheet metal working with high levels of practical relevance in a pleasant working atmosphere at Blechexpo/Schweisstec. Suppliers and investment decision-makers meet here on an equal footing and explore forward-looking solutions which are ideally matched to the respective application.
Impressive, Jam-Packed Supplementary Programme
The technical exhibition in nine exhibition halls will be accompanied by an impressive supplementary programme: www.blechexpo-messe.de/en/trade-fair-program. It will attract large numbers of expert visitors to Stuttgart and, thanks to the highly topical expert presentations and discussions, will have an extensive impact on routine business operations. The “Blechexpo Steel Convention 2023” will take place in the forum area in hall 10 at noon on the first day of the trade fair and will focus attention on “Challenges in the Steel Markets in 2023”. The convention will be organised by the Stahl-Kommunikation Agency. A “futureSteel” congress has been organised for the second day of the trade fair in cooperation with Marketsteel Media from Düsseldorf. The daily “Exhibitor Forum”, which has enjoyed great popularity for years, has now been further expanded by the trade fair promoter: world-class speakers from exhibiting companies will hold presentations on all trade fair days at various forums aligned to the thematic structure of the exhibition halls for the first time at Blechexpo/Schweisstec 2023: the Stamping Forum in hall 4 (1FO-01), the Schweisstec Forum in hall 7 (7515), the BEST Forum in hall 9 (9315) and the Steel Forum in Kongress West. Furthermore, additional special forums with the ZVEI, IBU and EFB associations will be held on the third day of the trade fair on the 9th of November, 2023. The expert forums are a valuable addition to a trade fair visit where expert visitors benefit from the most up-to-date specialist knowledge, as well as inspiration and networking. Admission is free of charge. Blechexpo/Schweisstec will be open from the 7th to the 10th of November, 2023 – Tuesday to Thursday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
